Fee Structure

In many instances, TRG can offer the client a choice in fee structures ranging from a flat fee to contingency fee arrangements.

Contingency Fee - Our contingency fee arrangement is truly a no-risk alternative where absolutely no fees are due unless a reduction in tax liability is achieved. In many cases, TRG even bears any third-party expenses required. Another benefit is that the contingency fee does not become payable until the savings are realized (documented by the County) or the refund is processed.

Flat Fee – Our flat fee arrangement allows the client to budget his or her expenses, with the flat fee due upfront. Flat fee arrangements, while offering a significant savings over a contingency fee, are payable whether or not TRG prevails in reducing the client's property tax liability.

Hourly Fee – Our hourly fee arrangement works well for roll corrections, research and other individual assignments. Hourly rates are determined based upon the personnel required.

Custom Fee – If warranted, we can craft a hybrid fee arrangement that combines the benefits of a contingency fee with the cost savings of the hourly or flat fee.

“You don’t get paid for the hour. You get paid for the value you bring to the hour.”
